In zwei zweiwöchigen Freizeiten während der Sommerferien werden jeweils bis zu 1200 Kinder im Alter von 6 – 15 Jahren betreut. Ca. 180 ehrenamtlichen Betreuern und Betreuerinnen (”Onkel” und “Tanten”) gestalten für die Kindern ein abwechslungsreiches Programm und erlebnisreiche Tage in der Natur. Die Gruppen bestehen aus ca. 20 Kinder, diese werden jeweils von einer Tante und einem Onkel betreut.
